These works are a must-see for any of Okutsu’s fans. Works include depictions of men riding goldfish, cranes and carp. I’m planning on presenting these works at my May exhibition so anyone interested should contact me as soon as possible.
Taku Hiraku’s Dōjinshi Circle publishes their own magazine “Akitaku*Kitaku” between one and three times a year. I’ve previously introduced Taku Hiraku’s artwork here to wide praise so I decided to feature him again. I’m sure you all know, but in recent times, in Japan, dōjinshi or coterie magazines have become a major art medium not […]
I’m not usually a manga reader but I’d like to share an interesting article I found regarding the differences between “Boys Love” comics and “Gay” comics which I thought some of my readers may be interested in. In recent years, the demand for gay comics has grown so that now they commonly appear in many […]
As previously shown on this site, I’d like to introduce a number of new oil works by Hideki Koh. These works were featured at the Oshibe Doll exhibition last year. Up until now Koh’s works have been predominately Japanese in style, but these new works feature Caucasian models and have a distinctly Western feel. These […]
Yu works as a graphic designer and writer but calls himself a “bear artist”. As his name would suggest he specializes in depicting the very cute “bear world”. His bears each have their own individual personality and charm. Along with his artworks, Yu also has a wide range of merchandise including mugs and postcards. At […]
This is an excellent new work from Itestu Ogura. It will be available to buy on the ART FOR SALE page, so keep checking back there. Ogura is also working on a new sculptural work which I hope to put up at the same time.
I’d like to take this chance to introduce a new essay on the works of Tagame Gengoroh by Dr William Amour, who kindly spoke at the opening of my first Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras exhibition in 2009. Dr Armour has previously published a number of essays on Japanese gay manga, with a special […]
TOBOJI538 exhibited outside Japan for the first time at my exhibition “OH KINKY desu ka?” where his work was warmly received. I don’t usually feature photographic works on this site, but TOBOJI538 is one of the few photographers working in the Japanese gay scene, so I thought I’d like to feature him. In this new […]
All artworks and artists introduced on this website are contracted to the owners of this website. As many of his work sold at Art Sydney, we have recently restocked his work. Although some of which are more erotic than his previous works, a kind of ordinariness that is the charm of his work remains unchanged.
